All things online...
Over the years I have been keeping log of my creative output,
because right from the start
I believed in creating a journey of discovery... a story to be revealed through bedtime books,
online photography bringing art exhibitions to those who may never get the chance through normal activity. Producing relaxing videos to promote well-being, to assist with the removal
of stress and anxiety by exploring natural environments to aid with a positive mind space.
If my art makes you happy, relaxed, calm, contemplative or energized and inspired I would certainly like to hear about it, tweet it - like it, even leave a comment, together we can
bring a splash of colour back to the walls online and in the places we live and work to create
a better experience to just be mindful or to allow for the growth of creative interactions.
I like to drop seeds for future ideas onto my social media pages, I use these spaces as interactive scrap books to pursue ideas which inform my visual language. Pinterest explores mother nature through Inner Space, Hydrogen and Oxygen (in its three natural states of gas, liquid and solid), the effect of our atmosphere on Delicate Lifeforms and the Impact upon Historic Landscapes.
Instagram examines the man made world we have built around ourselves, Graffiti Nation looks at the creative ways mankind has learnt to decorate the surface with expressions that capture art movement. With Urban Abstraction we observe the origins of the elements used within our walls and infrastructure to contemplate our place in this world.
USB aims to lead a curious kind of nature trail through our online galleries to blur certain lines between traditional subjects in landscape photography, informed by modern and contemporary painters. To find an inspiration from every day places to enhance our living spaces, how we live.
